From June to August daytime temperatures in the desert often pass 40°C, so the camel ride is scheduled for late afternoon. From December to February days are sunny and mild, but desert nights can drop close to 0°C, so bring warm layers.

Keep a small backpack with your essentials for the night in the desert camp, plus a power bank and some cash for personal expenses and tips.
