The most comfortable months for a Sahara tour are mid-September to November and March to May, with warm days and cool nights. From June to August daytime temperatures in the desert often pass 40°C, so the camel ride is scheduled for late afternoon. Keep a small backpack with your essentials for the night in the desert camp, plus a power bank and some cash for personal expenses and tips.
